Since 1962, Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. has operated in Thailand with systematic management of safety, health and environment, reliability and efficiency to achieve world-class performance. Chevron produces natural gas, condensate and crude oil for Thailand. Their operations supply about 50 percent of Thailand’s natural gas production. The natural gas is primarily used to generate electricity, fulfilling more than one-third of the country's total power demand. The remainder is used for industrial fuel, transportation fuel, cooking gas and petrochemical feedstock. Chevron’s head office is located in Bangkok and they also have offices in Songkhla, Chon Buri, and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

The agency’s main responsibilities are: To formulate policies and action plans regarding STI at the national level To provide support and advice to other governmental agencies in formulating their own implementation plan; To develop standard measurements, indicators, database, and conduct policy research in support of STI To facilitate and monitor the development of human resources in science and technology

This organization has a mission to provide and promote quality and standardized vocational education, upgrade Thailand’s vocational education to meet international qualities and standards, expand vocational education opportunities widely and equally, be a center for both technical and technological vocational education, strengthen cooperation networks and partnerships, and enhance and develop vocational education teachers and personnel.

The Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) is a Thai government agency, under the Ministry of Education, that was founded in 2003 when the Department of General Education’s Office of the National Primary Education Commission and the Ministry of Education’s Office of Private Education Commission were joined together. Its responsibilities include the management of education from primary school until secondary school in Thailand.

The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) is an autonomous state agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology that is responsible for driving the scientific and technological capabilities of Thailand. It plays a major role in helping Thailand prosper in the increasing competitive global economy by enabling the country’s industrial and agricultural sectors to function more efficiently through improved science and technology capabilities. NSM’s goal is to encourage Thai society to realize the importance of science for the country’s development and cultivate youth to have a positive perception of science and technology. In addition, NSM is also a fun and entertaining place for families and Thai and international tourists to visit.

The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) is an independent authority under the Ministry of Education, responsible for the development of national curriculums and educational media and tools, as well as for standard and quality assessments on science, mathematics, and technological education from elementary to upper secondary schools. IPST is also tasked with re-training teachers and students, promoting science talent, and advising experts on science education policy. IPST works closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including government education authorities, teachers, principals, students, community members, and the general public to ensure  comprehensive, efficient, and sustainable science learning and teaching, and to cultivate a culture of scientific thought among the country’s children.

The Department of Skill Development (DSD) is a department under the Ministry of Labour, which primarily focuses on strengthening workforce development. The DSD has three main missions: to create and develop workforce skill qualifications aligned with international standards, to develop workforce capacities, including encouraging entrepreneurs to compete in an international arena, and to promote cooperation and workforce development networking in Thailand.
